Unlike many other travelers, Teli does not have any weapons with him and will run away if enemy Bokoblin or Stalkoblin appear. He does have knowledge of Ancient Parts and does business with the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, all the way at the northeast part of Hyrule, claiming that it is half of his business. Teli is quite vain, referring to himself as having roguish good looks. He goes out that way to collect ancient materials from the Guardian remains found near Fort Hateno.

He lives in Hateno Village, but travels along the path all the way to Fort Hateno. Teli is a traveling treasure hunter and merchant who deals in Ancient Materials.
